The Web App — nyura.app

Open nyura.app in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — and you have the full Nyura experience. No installation required. The web app is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it behaves like a native app: it loads instantly (even on slow connections) thanks to service worker caching, it works fully offline (tasks you create or edit while disconnected are saved locally and synced when you're back online), and it can be installed to your home screen with one tap for a fullscreen, app-like experience without the browser chrome. On desktop, the web app shines with keyboard navigation (arrow keys to browse tasks, Enter to edit, Escape to close), drag-and-drop reordering in list and Kanban views, a spacious sidebar for navigation, and full support for all six task views (List, Kanban, Gantt, Calendar, Standup, Eisenhower Matrix). The Productivity Dashboard with Recharts visualizations works best on a wide screen. Every feature available on mobile is also here — email import, AI tools, Focus Mode, voice capture, photo scanning — plus the added comfort of a full keyboard and large screen.

Install as PWA — The Best of Both Worlds

You don't need the App Store or Play Store to get Nyura on your home screen. On iOS Safari: tap the Share button (the square with an arrow), then tap 'Add to Home Screen'. On Android Chrome: tap the three-dot menu, then 'Install app' or 'Add to Home Screen'. On desktop Chrome/Edge: look for the install icon in the address bar, or use the menu > Install Nyura. Once installed, Nyura opens in its own window — no browser tabs, no URL bar, just the app. It launches instantly from your home screen or dock, receives push notifications, and works offline. The PWA stays automatically updated — every time you open it, it silently checks for updates and refreshes in the background. No manual updates needed, no app store review delays. This is the fastest way to get Nyura on any device.

iPhone — The Native iOS Experience

Download Nyura from the App Store (search 'Nyura') or join the beta via TestFlight. The iOS app is built with Capacitor 8, wrapping the same React codebase in a native shell — so you get 100% feature parity with the web, plus iOS-exclusive features. 5 Home Screen Quick Actions: long-press the Nyura icon and you get instant access to Create Task, Urgent Task, Record Task (voice), Today View, and New Trip — no need to open the app first. Siri Shortcuts: create automations that trigger Nyura deep links. Say 'Hey Siri, new Nyura task' and go straight to task creation. Face ID: lock the app with biometric authentication for privacy. Haptic feedback: every swipe action gives a subtle vibration confirmation. 6 alternate app icons: choose from Berry (pink), Forest (green), Light (white), Neon (cyan), Royal (purple), or Solar (orange) to match your home screen aesthetic. Push notifications for task reminders, overdue alerts, and assignment notifications. Widgets (coming soon): a task summary widget and a next trip countdown widget for your home screen. App Clip: a lightweight preview experience for users who haven't installed the app yet. All data syncs instantly across all your devices via Supabase real-time.

Android — Full-Featured on Google Play

Nyura is on the Google Play Store — search 'Nyura' or find it under the package name app.nyura.android. Same Capacitor 8 shell, same React codebase, same 100% feature parity. Android brings its own set of exclusive features: App Shortcuts (long-press the icon for quick actions, just like iOS), two home screen widgets — a Task Summary Widget showing your overdue count, today's tasks, and top 3 priority items, and a Next Voyage Widget showing a countdown to your next trip with destination and transport details. 6 alternate app icons to match your Android theme (Berry, Forest, Light, Neon, Royal, Solar). Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging. Biometric lock (fingerprint or face recognition). Deep linking via both the nyura:// custom scheme and https://nyura.app universal links (with Android App Links verification). The app supports Android 13+ media permissions and legacy storage access for older devices. All data syncs in real-time with the web and iOS versions — change a task on your Android phone and it appears on your laptop and iPhone instantly.

7 Languages, Dark Mode, and Themes

Nyura speaks your language. The entire app — every button, every label, every notification, every email — is available in 7 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Malay, Hindi, and Simplified Chinese. The language auto-detects from your browser or phone settings, or you can set it manually in Settings. Blog posts are also fully translated in all 7 languages. For visual comfort, Nyura supports four theme modes: Light (clean white background), Dark (easy on the eyes at night), System (follows your device's light/dark preference automatically), and Auto-Time (switches to dark mode at 6 PM and back to light at 6 AM — no manual toggle needed). Theme transitions are smooth with a 350ms CSS animation. On iOS and Android, the status bar color automatically adapts to match your theme. And with 6 alternate app icons (Berry pink, Forest green, Light white, Neon cyan, Royal purple, Solar orange), you can personalize how Nyura looks on your home screen.

Offline First — Works Without Internet

Airplane mode? Bad Wi-Fi? No signal in the subway? Nyura doesn't care. Every platform — web, iOS, Android — uses the same offline-first architecture. Your task list is cached locally and loads instantly, even with zero connectivity. Any changes you make (create, edit, complete, delete tasks) are saved to an IndexedDB queue on your device. When connectivity returns, Nyura silently syncs everything in the background — you don't have to do anything. A small sync indicator badge shows how many pending changes are waiting to sync. If a conflict happens (you edited a task offline while someone else edited it on another device), a conflict resolution dialog appears so you can choose which version to keep. The service worker uses a stale-while-revalidate strategy for data: it shows you cached data immediately, then quietly fetches fresh data from the server and updates the view. Background sync has a 24-hour retry window — even if you're offline for a full day, your changes won't be lost.

One Account, Every Device, Always in Sync

Sign in once with your email, Google, or Apple account, and everything syncs everywhere. Create a task on your iPhone during your commute, edit it on your laptop at the office, and check it off on your Android tablet at home. Supabase real-time subscriptions ensure changes propagate instantly — typically within 200ms. Your theme preference, language setting, AI consent, and notification preferences all sync across devices too. Even your Focus Mode timer state syncs, so if you start a Pomodoro on your phone and switch to your laptop, the timer continues. The blog, landing page, and feature pages at nyura.app are publicly accessible — no login needed. But the moment you sign in, you enter your personalized workspace with all your tasks, contacts, projects, travel itineraries, and company intelligence. Three native apps (Web PWA, iOS, Android), one backend (Supabase), zero friction. That's Nyura — your work, your way, on every screen you own.
