Company Intelligence: SEC, OpenCorporates & Wikipedia

Every company in Nyura now has a rich intelligence card powered by three free APIs running in parallel. SEC EDGAR surfaces the latest 10-K annual reports, 10-Q quarterly filings, and 8-K event disclosures for US-listed companies — color-coded by form type so you can spot critical filings at a glance. OpenCorporates pulls registration data from 140+ jurisdictions: company number, incorporation date, legal status, registered address, and a direct link to the official registry. Wikipedia provides a concise company summary with thumbnail image, giving you instant context without leaving the app.

Travel: Nearby Places & Currency Conversion

When you open a hotel booking in the Travel module, Nyura now shows nearby restaurants, bars, and attractions powered by Foursquare's Places API. Each place includes a photo, category, distance from your hotel, star rating, and price level — with a one-tap button to get directions in Google Maps. The places are organized in a clean tabbed view (Restaurants / Bars / Attractions) so you can plan your evenings and explore the area before you even arrive. On top of that, a new currency conversion service lets you check real-time exchange rates right inside the app — powered by ExchangeRate-API with a 1-hour cache for snappy responses.

Nona celebrating new features

Company Favorites & Automatic News Monitoring

You can now star companies as favorites with a single tap. Once a company is favorited, Nyura automatically monitors it for new articles every 6 hours — combining Google News RSS and Tavily AI search for comprehensive coverage. When fresh news is detected, you get a NEW tag on the company card, plus optional email and Telegram notifications so you never miss an important announcement. The monitoring runs as a background cron job, checking all your favorites and sending a consolidated notification if multiple companies have updates. Turn notifications on or off in Settings — it's designed to keep you informed without being noisy.
