Connect in Seconds — No Beta, No Waiting

Until now, connecting your Gmail or Google Calendar to Nyura required a beta invitation. Not anymore. Starting with version 4.38.25, every Nyura user can link their Google account directly from Settings. The new Google Connection card is front and center in your Settings page — impossible to miss.

Two dedicated buttons let you connect Gmail and Calendar independently. The red Connect Gmail button handles email sync, while the blue Connect Calendar button links your schedule. Each connection uses secure Google OAuth with only the permissions Nyura needs — read-only access to your inbox and calendar events. Your credentials never touch our servers.

Emails Become Tasks — Automatically

Once Gmail is connected, Nyura's inbox sync runs every 5 minutes. Forward an email to inbox@nyura.app, or let the automatic sync pick up important messages. Nyura's AI reads the email, extracts action items, and creates pending tasks with the right priority, due date, and context. A client asking for a proposal by Friday? Nyura creates the task, sets the deadline, and even links the contact from your CRM.

Every sender is automatically added to your Contact CRM for relationship tracking. Nyura remembers who emailed you, when, and about what — building a complete interaction history without any manual data entry. The contacts imported from email are kept in your CRM for reference, while your task delegation picker stays clean with only the collaborators you have manually added.

Your Calendar Drives Your Travel Plans

Connect Google Calendar and Nyura immediately scans your upcoming events for travel-related entries — flights, hotel stays, train rides, conferences in other cities. These events are automatically converted into travel segments in Nyura's Travel module. A calendar event titled 'Flight CDG-NRT' becomes a flight segment with departure and arrival times. A hotel booking becomes an accommodation segment with check-in and check-out dates.

Focus Music — Now for Everyone

The Focus Music module was previously available only to beta testers. Starting now, every Nyura user has access to curated ambient and focus music tracks — completely free. Open the Music tab in the sidebar, browse playlists designed for deep work, and hit play. The mini player follows you across the app so you never lose your flow. Combined with Focus Mode (full-screen single-task view with timer), this creates the ultimate distraction-free productivity environment.

Smarter Task Delegation — Your Team, Your Way

We heard your feedback: the task delegation picker was getting cluttered with auto-imported contacts from email syncs and business card scans. Fixed. Starting with v4.38.27, only contacts you have manually created appear in the task owner selector. Contacts imported automatically from Gmail, Fireflies transcripts, or scanned business cards remain in your CRM for relationship tracking, but they no longer crowd your delegation dropdown. Your task management stays clean and intentional.
